Gas Water Heater
Purchase a new, qualified energy-efficient gas water heater and start saving. Both gas storage water heaters and gas tankless water heaters are eligible.
Heating water accounts for approximately 15% of a home’s energy use. High-efficiency gas water heaters use 10% to 20% less energy than standard models, saving homeowners money on their utility bills. Actual energy savings from high-efficiency water heaters depends on family size, heater location and the size and placement of water pipes.
We offer a $50 rebate when you purchase a new, qualified energy-efficient gas water heater.

Eligibility
This rebate is only available to Ameren Illinois gas or electric residential delivery service customers. Limit 1 clothes washer rebate per household and must be purchased by December 31st of the current calendar year. Rebate application must be submitted within 60 days from purchase date or by December 31st of the current calendar year, whichever comes first. Clothes washer must be ENERGY STAR certified. The rebate paid will not exceed the purchase price of the appliance, excluding taxes, shipping, and installation charges.
