ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostats can be controlled remotely via a smartphone, tablet or laptop – allowing you to easily manage your usage and start saving on expenses.

Through the Smart Savers Initiative offered by the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program, qualified Ameren Illinois Residential customers living in eligible ZIP codes receive FREE professional installation with a Program Ally in addition to a no-cost smart thermostat.

Rebate Eligibility
Customer’s primary heating source must be supplied by an Ameren Illinois delivered fuel, natural gas or electric. Customers heating their home with propane are also eligible. Limit one (1) smart thermostat rebate per household and must be purchased by December 31st of the current calendar year. Rebate application must be submitted within 60 days from purchase date or by December 31st of the current calendar year, whichever comes first. The rebate paid will not exceed the purchase price of the smart thermostat, excluding taxes, shipping and installation charges. Instant Incentives Eligibility
Ensure your contractor is aware of these requirements to qualify for the instant discount. Customer’s primary heating source must be supplied by an Ameren Illinois delivered fuel, natural gas or electric. Customers heating their home with propane are also eligible. Limit one (1) smart thermostat per residential account. Smart thermostat must be ENERGY STAR certified – View qualifying models here.
*Signage in retail stores does not guarantee the product qualifies for a rebate. To check eligibility, visit our rebate portal or the ENERGY STAR website to check the specific model’s eligibility. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing to receive your rebate.
